Day-01 Delhi – Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Meet and greet with our representative at Delhi International Airport. After sorting the immigration formalities, with our assistance, the safari group will depart to Kilimanjaro Airport, housing the highest dormant volcanic mountain of Africa. At the airport, our protocol officer will assist in completing the rest of the immigration formalities then he/she will escort you to the guide and driver who will be waiting outside. From there a private taxi will take you to Arusha, the safari capital of the world, and the only place connected to the best safari spots in Africa. Check in your room at the hotel and head towards any restaurant for lunch then post lunch the group will be heading towards the safari, beginning from Tarangire National Park which is a 2 hour drive from Arusha. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses the park and is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire ecosystem and its estimated size is 2,850 km² thus there is a lot to see here. From ridges, valleys and swamps, this place has everything that screams Africa! Tarangire Park is famous for usually spotting elephants and baobab trees whereas in the dry season, one can see herds of thousands of zebras, wildebeest and Cape buffalo. It houses more than 500 species of birds thus it is a dream come true for bird enthusiasts. Post safari, head towards your pre-booked lodge for your meals and prep for Lake Manyara National Park, which is 70kms from Tarangire.

Day-02 Manyara National Park

Next up is Manyara National Park which will help us kickstart the Safari! Lake Manyara was initially used for sports hunting whereas a game reserve was also added in 1957. Later it was given a National Park status when 1400 acres of land was added to its Southern end. Depending on the season, you will get to enjoy short rains and long rains here. Manyara National Park houses a large flock of flamingoes which can be spotted feeding along the edge of the lake during wet season. The Great white pelican, greater flamingo, Marabou stork, and pink-backed pelican can be found in this region in a huge number hence making it a sanctuary for bird enthusiasts.

Day-03 Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is one of the largest National Parks in Africa housing 37,000,000 acres of Virgin Savanna and is next on our list to continue towards the safari. This National Park will be taking up 3 days from the safari because of its humongous size! Apart from the huge land stretch and the Serengeti volcanic grasslands, Serengeti NP is known for the largest migration in the world which includes over 1.4 million blue wildebeest, 240,000 zebras and the largest lion population in the world. You will not be able to miss out on African Leopard, Bush Elephant, Black rhinoceros, and the African Buffalo. Here, one should visit various places inside Serengeti NP like the Seronera River Valley. It is known for spotting gazelles, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes. If lucky enough you will get to see the elusive leopards of the park.

Day-04 Serengeti National Park (Northern)

‘Serengeti‘is a word used by people of the Masaai Tribe for the area which translates to “the place where the land runs forever”. June to October is the peak time to visit Serengeti National Park if you want to see the best of wildlife! Located inside the Northern Serengeti is the infamous ‘Lobo Valley’ which was named “paradise” for its vibrations. Spotting a lion, leopard, or cheetah in Lobo Valley is very easy as they roam that area! Northern Serengeti is a vast piece of untouched land with wooden rolling hills dispersed with open grassy patches and granite outcrops. No doubt it is one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Covering 5,700 sq. miles, this park is larger than Connecticut itself and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you are an adventurer or a safari enthusiast, you’d wish to forget the beauty of Serengeti NP just to enjoy it again.

1 Lake Nakuru Enjoy a complimentary hotel pick up early in the morning. After a brief introduction, depart from Nairobi at 8.00am for Nakuru national park. 2.5 hours’ drive to top cliff lodge Nakuru. Top cliff lodge gives you the Birds eye of Nakuru National park and Nakuru town. You arrive in time for lunch and check in. Later depart for afternoon game drives returning late for dinner and overnight. Lake Nakuru facts: Lake Nakuru is also referred as the “pink lake” due to thousands of flamingos that hatch and fly over the lake. It is an ideal park for bird watching. 2 Lake nakuru to Maasai maa national reserve 1 Stop 1 Maasai Mara National Reserve Early morning game drives at Lake nakuru national park. Later depart for maasai mara with a stop on the way for hot lunch. Check in at Maasai mara AA lodge in the afternoon. This afternoon is spent on leisure and you have an optional choice to visit the famous Maasai village for cultural tour (cost not included) Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. Your quest for Africa gets full satisfaction at this park. Meet the friendly Maasai tribe ready to welcome you to this spectacular natural heritage. The big five name them, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, Elephant and other species of animals mingle freely in this national reserve

Day 3 Full day in Maasai mara 1 Stop 1 Maasai Mara National Reserve

This is your full day game drive in Maasai Mara National museum. Depart with packed lunch which you will enjoy near Mara River with spectacular views of the Mother Nature hidden in Maasai Mara. You return later for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Maasai mara to Serengeti 1 Stop 1 Serengeti

National Park Depart for immigration Esibania border with your packed lunch which you will enjoy on the way. Drivers will change and you will have a new driver for the remaining part of the safari. Drive to ikoma tented camp and check in for dinner and overnight. This afternoon is spent on leisure at the camp. Animal comes near the camp so you have chance to see animals at

your rooms verandah. 5 hours’ drive

Day 5 full day in Serengeti national park 1 Stop 1 Serengeti National

Park Check out and proceed for full day game drives in Serengeti national park. Serengeti national park is wide with many animals. Later in the afternoon check in at Seronera wildlife lodge one of the best safari lodges located inside Serengeti national park.

Day 6 Serengeti to Ngoro Ngoro crater

1 Stop 1 Ngorongoro Crater Depart via game drives en route to Ngoro Ngoro crater. Full day at the Ngorongoro conservation reserve. Enjoy packed Lunch at the crater. Game drives till late when you check in at Eileens trees hotel for dinner and overnight. ( Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area. The conservation area is administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, an arm of the Tanzanian government, and its boundaries follow the boundary of the Ngorongoro Division of the Arusha Region.)

Day 7 Tarangire National park

1 Stop 1 Tarangire National Park Enjoy hot breakfast and depart for Tarangire National park. Depart with packed lunch for full day tour. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Arusha town and check in for Lunch at Moivaro lodge. Tarangire National park facts: (The Tarangire National Park is located between the meadows of Maasai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Among the rolling area where the park lies, it occupies an area of 2,600 square kilometers. The perennial Tarangire River takes over the northern part of Tarangire. Through the cut ditches, the River flows upwards up to when it leaves the corner of the park, in the North West flowing into Lake Burungi. There are a number of wide swamps which dry into green plains during the dry season in the south)

Day 8 Arusha to Nairobi

Breakfast and stay in the hotel premises till 12.oo noon when our driver picks you for arusha shuttle to Nairobi. Drop at the airport at 6.30pm.
